The cartography, writing, and ramblings of one crazy winter lover who likes to blog about the fun and inconsequential.

Winter is Coming

Second post of the day, and probably a bit more important than the usual update message. That is, it's time to post on what people can expect out of this blog in the future, other than vague promises. So no need to dawdle, let's get started, shall we?

First off, I will definitely be posting the maps I've already made onto this blog in a somewhat chronological order, with nice little write-ups on all of them. They'll all be tagged as "maps" so that clicking that tag will take you to them if you ever want to skip over the other posts. Next, I'll be adding some of my personal writing to the site. Over the past two years, I've completed two standalone books: Freeze Frame and Lodestone. Both of them aren't, how you say, the best novels in the world, but hopefully readers can find some enjoyment in them, and they're free, at the very least.

I may also put up some short stories and other writings as well, though I will spare you all my fanfiction, unless anyone is very apt about reading it.

Thirdly, I will be posting some of my promised "ramblings" for others. Now, don't worry, I won't do rants or reviews or that ilk since there are thousands of other blogs who will do the same. Instead, I'll mrely post about recommendations of books I've read or shows I've watched, as well as posting little galleries of art I find amazing (with sources, of course), or recommendations of other peoples' books.

Finally, I'll be doing a fun little event this December. I am striving to compile a list of the best Christmas movies and Christmas episodes of television shows to watch during December, and will give a commentary on each throughout the month, leading up to Christmas.

That's all for now, folks, but I greatly look forward to expand my blogging muscles a bit in the coming months. Goodbye for now!
