The cartography, writing, and ramblings of one crazy winter lover who likes to blog about the fun and inconsequential.

Happy Holidays

To all those who follow my blogs, Merry Christmas, عيد ميلاد مجيد (Eid Milad Majid), Joyeux Noel, 圣诞快乐 (Sheng Dan Kuai Le), С Рождеством Христовым, and Feliz Navidad!

Today, of all days, I wish you all the merriest of Christmases, the happiest of holidays, and the most joyous day of the whole year. If you've been following me for a while, you know I love Christmas, and today is no exception. Whether there are presents under the tree, food in the fridge, or stockings above the fire, Christmas is a magical time of wonder, joy, and hope for all of us. It is a time when our ancestors refused to be cowed by the long, cold winters and instead feasted and celebrated in the darkest days of the year.

So to you, no matter where you are, have a wonderful day, whether you are celebrating the holiday or not. Take some time to rest, be with family, or just enjoy yourself for at least one day out of the entire year. One day where we can hope for peace and goodwill toward all people.

Best wishes, God Bless, and a big thank you to all of you for a wonderful year!
